  Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico. Located in the Western-Pacific region, this beautiful city is consider the "most Mexican" city, and the capital of Jalisco, the "most Mexican" state. Guadalajara is also the home of the most popular and beloved soccer team in Mexico: Chivas Rayadas.

Guadalajara is a big city and offers up a variety of activities ranging from just plain fun to a wide range of cultural attractions. Everywhere you go there are magnificent buildings and historical sites.  The combination of local activities and the availability of tours to nearby attractions means that you should experience an incredible vacation.  More than likely your vacation will not be long enough to enjoy many of the interesting things to see and do in, and around, Guadalajara.

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

Guadalajara's historic centre is a great place to get acquainted with some of this areas history and also get a taste of the incredible colonial architecture. The skyline of the historic centre is dominated by the colonial cathedral. The cathedral is a great starting point for a leisurely stroll through this city's cultural centre.

Guadalajara is mild year-round, with the occasional freak cold spell. The warmest months, April and May, are hot and dry. From June through September, the city gets afternoon and evening showers that keep the temperature a bit cooler.
